Paradigms of education

Hi everyone!! Today I´m going to continue speaking about the conferences of Ken Robinson, specifically of the talk called “Changing paradigms of education”
The first problem that he recognizes is that the actual system of education was designed and created for a different age and different circunstances (industrial revolution) that have a believe of academic ability that promotes the idea that exist two classes of person: academic (intelligent) and no academic ( no intelligent). Robinson refers to boom of ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and he says that this phenomen is fiction because is understandable that a lot of children to be distracted in class if we consider that they recieves many stimuli (video games, TV …) and this point evidence that the school pretend limit the use of all senses of students. He say that the work of school is contrary,  they would have wake up to children. Also the model prevents that people think different or that they can interact in class with their classmates, because are not permit divergent ideas and the collaboration. So the system would have to leave the standardization, the distinction between academic and no academic people, and they would have to consider the collaboration in class and worry habitat of the institutions and the place that take the individual here. I´m according with all that he says. I think that the educational system has many shortcomings and of this way explains why there are so many people disoriented that haven`t idea what to do with their lives and they feel vulnerable to the world.
Greetings :)
